Cancer Prevention and Support

I offer Nutritional Therapy cancer prevention and support in conjunction with Mosaic Medical.

Mosaic Medical is the UK’s first nationwide, doctor-led Functional Medicine group practice.

What is Integrative Oncology?

Integrative Oncology is a patient-centred approach that blends conventional cancer treatments with scientifically supported complementary therapies. By addressing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—this model aims to:

  • Optimise the effectiveness of standard treatments.
  • Minimise side effects during treatment.
  • Enhance overall well-being.
  • Reduce the risk of recurrence.

I provide personalised nutritional therapy to support individuals undergoing cancer treatment or with a history of cancer. Whether you’re currently in treatment, in remission, or focusing on prevention, my tailored approach helps enhance well-being during therapy and promote long-term health. I offer support for all solid tumour cancers.

  • Real-Time Hormone and Blood Assessments: I offer detailed assessments of your hormonal balance, nutrient levels, and inflammatory markers to give you a clearer picture of how these influence your cancer journey and recovery.

  • Tailored Nutritional Support: I create customised nutrition plans designed to enhance your body’s resilience, support immune function, and aid recovery during and after treatment.

  • Epigenetic Testing: Understanding your genetic makeup helps me tailor your care by identifying how factors like detoxification, hormone regulation, and nutrient metabolism affect your cancer risk and treatment response.

  • Lifestyle and Environmental Evaluations: By examining modifiable factors like diet, exercise, and toxin exposure, I can guide you in making informed decisions that enhance your treatment outcomes and reduce your risk of recurrence.

How I Can Help

I am a highly experienced Registered Nutritional Therapist specialising in cancer prevention and cancer support.

In 2022, I undertook specialist training to support individuals with cancer prevention and those with a cancer diagnosis. I am listed on the BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) register of practitioners qualified in this area. I am a member of both the British Society for Integrative Oncology and the Society for Integrative Oncology.

I also have a particular interest in nutrigenomics, which explores how genes interact with diet and lifestyle. This offers valuable insights into genetic predispositions and how these can be influenced through targeted nutrition and lifestyle changes. To deepen my expertise in this area, I qualified as a Nutrigenomics Practitioner with Lifecode Gx in 2023.

I work in an integrative capacity, supporting clients undergoing active cancer treatment by offering tailored nutrition and lifestyle strategies to help improve quality of life. I ensurethat all recommendations are shared with a client’s medical team to provide a joined-up approach to care.

I also work with individuals looking to reduce their risk of developing cancer or experiencing a recurrence, including those with a history of breast cancer in collaboration with Dr Amy Walker, as well as those with solid tumour cancers in a nutritional therapy context.

If you are seeking nutrition and lifestyle support for either active cancer or cancer prevention, you are welcome to book a discovery call to explore how I may be able to help.

Please note that all information provided as part of a nutritional therapy programme is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Nutritional therapy does not diagnose, treat, or cure any disease, including cancer.
